The smart mirror consists of a raspberry pi, monitor or TV, and ultrasonic sensors. It allows you to display content behind the mirror such as commute times and weather.

With the use of ultraonic sensors you are able to interact with the mirror by simply swiping your hand through the air.

For my personal smart mirror I also used different API's to display stock and cryptocurrency details as well as being able to cast from phones to pull up recipes for cooking.
